1. The 2018 federal budget proposal would dismantle the NEA, the National Endowment of the Arts. The NEA provides grants to American artists, as well as research into the arts and economic growth, arts education, art therapies, and arts programs for a number of communities nationwide. Tell our members of Congress to protect the arts in America and reject the proposed budget.

2. In addition to draconian cuts, the federal budget proposal is based on a math error of around 2 trillion dollars. Contact our members of Congress and ask them to demand a new, error-free draft of the federal budget.

We will be talking about voter registration and volunteering, and how to get more people registered — and out to the polls in the upcoming primaries. We will also be taking your opinions on healthcare and what action we should take next.
